Margaret Irene Kratzer was born on 10 October 1908 in Jordan Township, Northumberland Co., PA. She was the daughter of Joel Kratzer Jr.and Hattie Schlegel. Margaret Irene Kratzer was baptized on 12 November 1908 in Berrysburg Evangelical Congregational Circuit, Dauphin Co., PA. She married Samuel Roosevelt Leitzel, son of George Adam T. Leitzel and Catherine Alice Snyder, circa 1924. Margaret Irene Kratzer died on 8 July 1997 in Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, Dauphin Co., PA, at age 88. She was buried after 8 July 1997 in St. David's Lutheran & Reformed Church Cemetery, Hebe, Northumberland Co., PA.
